How to Install Wp Dockbar?
1. Download Wp Dockbar ZIP file and extract it.
2. Upload dockbar folder on your “/wp-content/plugins/” directory using and FTP client.
3. Go to “plugins” section in your Wordpress Administration Panel and activate dockbar plugin.
4. Go to “Manage -> Link categories” and Add a new category called: “dockbar”.
How to add New Dock Item?
1. Go to “Write -> Link” and fill the fields: “Name”, “Web Address” (will be the url of your Dock Item) and “Description”.
2. Select “dockbar” as Category for the Link
3. Select “Advanced -> Image Address” and Add the url of your Dock Icon Image.
4. Select “Keep this link private” and Click on “Save”.
You can use unlimited number of Dock Item and Images. You can obtain best results using Images at 128×128 px of resolution. You can use PNG with alpha transparency, fully supported also in Internet Explorer 6.

How can I set it to show on the right side and on top of the header instead of behind?

I think your problem is in CSS code of your Theme.
Actually not is possible to choose the position of Dockbar. It will display at the top of your theme.
In the future, I will release a new version where you can chose position

It works! It is tested on this website and in a fresh installation of wordpress 2.6.2 with default theme.
I have a local blog wordpress’ based. I try to install this plugin, but it doesn’t works. I make it step by step, but nothing to do.. on the address of image, if I have upload photo in local, what address i have to put in? Thank you!
